lyrics

There's a shack I often seen
It used to be outside of town
Four walls made of concrete
With some tarp hanging around

Well one night there were two tweakers
Holed up in the shack
One of them - the girlfriend
Was cut open with an axe

She was screaming in his face
In that cold concrete place
The room was spinning
He was dizzy
He hit her real hard
And so she lunged at him
And grabbed him by the chin
They fell to the floor
Rolled forward
And soon he was on top

Things had gone a little to far
They were both pretty stressed
She was bitching at him, and well...
They were both on meth
He didn't remember feeling anything
No guilt or remorse
He just sat curled up in the corner
With her head on the floor.
It wasn't til the morning after
When he woke up to find
Two officers above him
And two others outside
Like a picture, everything in motion
It all happened oh so fast
First a junkie hops up with an axe
Before getting shot in the head

His head was flung back
He was stopped in his tracks
He was shot once;
Shot twice;
And tazed in the back
And so the couple died
On a night in July
And the other,
The lover,
The day after that night
